Restaurant, resort and hotel workers were among the dozens taking part in an active shooter training seminar this morning at the Hyatt Regency in Sarasota. The Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association sponsored the event along with the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. Crime Prevention Unit’s Deputy Cathy Duff spoketo the group. Lynch says this is the sixth seminar she has held around the state.
