On Tuesday, 36-year-old David Kidd was sentenced to LIFE IN PRISON after being found guilty of 9 counts of sexual battery and lewd or lascivious molestation of a child.
The investigation and result were due to the commitment of North Port investigative teams and the State Attorney’s Office 12th Judicial Circuit. “Our top priority is protecting our children,” says North Port Police Chief Todd Garrison. “We can never fully take away the pain victims experience but we have a team of dedicated investigators who will work to ease it by putting those responsible away, forever.”
