The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office has called the death of a two-year-old an accidental drowning.
The Herald-Tribune reports it happened on 24th Circle in Sarasota on Saturday afternoon.
The boy’s sister cooked food in the kitchen as two other kids found the boy in the pool.
Neighbors performed CPR until deputies and paramedics arrived.
The boy went to Sarasota Memorial Hospital at first.
Doctors at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg pronounced him dead Monday.
