A shooting at a Sarasota gun range killed a teenage boy.
The sheriff’s office says he died in an accidental shooting yesterday at High Noon Guns on Bee Ridge Road.
Officials at Sarasota Memorial Hospital pronounced him dead.
The Bradenton Herald has identified him as a 14-year-old boy, but the sheriff’s office has not released his name yet.
The gun range’s website shows no one under the age of 18 can fire a gun at the range without a parent there.
