Walgreens on North Tamiami Trail in Sarasota was evacuated earlier on Tuesday after a device was located outside the store. Police say the device, which was found around 11:30am this morning, appeared to be a pressure cooker but it was unclear if the device was dangerous. Sarasota Police responded and examined the device using special equipment. As it turns out, the device was a pressure cooker, but it was empty and no threat to the public.
