Sarasota Memorial Hospital is looking to expand in Venice. The hospital board advertised for architects, engineers and contractors to help design and build a new acute care hospital on Laurel Road, where it owns 65 acres of land. In addition, they’re also looking for people to renovate a more than 6,000 square foot medical building across the street from Venice Regional Bayfront Health. The new clinic on Tamiami Trail would serve as a primary care center with three or four internal medicine and family physicians.
