An Englewood man remains in the Sarasota County Jail for allegedly growing marijuana in his house.
The sheriff’s office says it arrested Ronald Ortiz on Tuesday after finding pot there.
Deputies took Ortiz into custody after serving a search warrant at his Keyway Road home.
Law enforcement apparently found 25 marijuana plants that weighed a combined 59 pounds.
Ortiz remains held on $10,000 bond.
