The sheriff’s office says a Sarasota man stole $10,000 worth of rifles.

It has arrested 24-year-old Justin McFarling for armed burglary and theft of a firearm.

A business owner on Port Road says he had several weapons stored at his business.

The sheriff’s office says four people had keys to it, including the cleaning crew.

Deputies learned one of the crew members had pawned two rifles in Bradenton.

After responding to the business last week for an alarm call, an electronic device records check showed that McFarling apparently left his home during the call.

More charges may follow.
