A Sarasota man was arrested on battery charges after the woman he is accused of beating jumped from a third floor balcony. An investigation has been ongoing into Henry Cokley since October 13th when he allegedly rammed the car of the woman multiple times with his car. The damage was so bad that she could not get out of the driver’s side. Police say Cokley punched the woman multiple times and pulled her hair. The latest incident happened when Cokley broke into the victim’s apartment and she jumped out the window for her own safety. Cokley was arrested Friday and charged with aggravated battery and assault. He remains in custody on $327,000 bond.
