It’s the best land deal that Mote Marine Laboratory will ever find…the Sarasota County Commission tomorrow is set to consider an agreement that would see the county either lease or sell land at Nathan Benderson Park to Mote for just $100 per year.
The agreement does require the lab to give the county a site plan showing detailed parking analysis and access points.
Mote would have access to the land just west of I-75 to conduct due diligence, which could extend out for a year.
