The Assistant Administrator of Sarasota County is moving from one coast of Florida to the other. Jonathan Evans has accepted a position as the city manager in Riviera Beach in Palm Beach County. Evans’ contract is scheduled for review and approval by the Riviera Beach City Council next Wednesday. In a news release, County Administrator Tom Harmer said, quote, “We wish Jonathan all the best in his new role with the City of Riviera Beach, and we thank him for his public service to Sarasota County.”
