The morning of Oct. 12 – Public Utilities Director Brooke Bailey
Director Brooke Bailey provides a Saturday morning on Sarasota County’s water systems following Hurricane Milton. Power has been restored to the Carlton Water Treatment Plant, allowing for the normalization of water pressure inland. Crews are actively working to isolate and repair water line breaks. Many lift stations remain without power, with teams using pumper trucks and generators to manage wastewater. Call 311 for further information.
