AirBnB is providing additional income for a number of homeowners who are sharing their homes in Sarasota County. The Herald Tribune says AirBnB ranks Sarasota as the ninth most active county in the state for home sharing with hosts earning six-point-seven million dollars in supplemental income. One-point-five million people stayed in the homes of 32-thousand Floridians this year. Altogether, those homeowners collected 273 million dollars in 2016.
