Sarasota County will receive $201.5 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds to support the long-term recovery efforts from Hurricane Ian. Funds can be used for restoration of infrastructure and housing, economic revitalization, and mitigation with a focus on assisting low- to moderate-income households.
In June, Sarasota County will hold three public meetings to collect any unmet needs you or your community are experiencing along with ideas for how we can best use these funds.
