Sarasota County Schools are asking for volunteers to work with third-grade and middle-school students this summer and next school year.
There are two programs which need some help- the Third-Grade Summer Reading Camp, for those who aren’t at grade-level reading proficienct, and Summer Middle School, for students who failed at least one class last school year.
No experience is necessary to help and tutor kids in either program- both start in early June and end in mid-July. Anyone interested can register on the Sarasota County Schools website.
