Classes resume in Sarasota County with a continued debate over bathroom policies.
The President and education officials have sent a letter advising public schools to let people use the bathrooms for the genders to which they identify.
However, that letter does not carry the weight of the law. That has allowed governors to tell their schools not to take the order seriously.
