The final co-conspirator in a plot to burn down a rival’s home has been sentenced to nine years and two months in jail. Rashica Shaguana Ford, 39, of Sarasota, along with along with two others, attempted to throw a Molotov cocktail through the window of a Bradenton home on East 17th Street where Ford’s rival lived in the early morning hours of March 11, 2015. The arson was orchestrated by Ford, who was Whitfield’s girlfriend and Pinckney’s sister, as retaliation for an altercation between Ford and the victim.
