The man accused of causing a death in Punta Gorda appears in court again today.
Authorities have charged 28-year-old Michael Russo with murder and arson from November.
They say he killed 18-year-old Kyle Farishian at a 7-Eleven and then burned down the store.
An arrest affidavit shows Russo allegedly trespassed there twice.
Police say they started receiving tips about him shortly after all this happened, but the chief says FDLE needed to process the evidence before they could arrest him.
