United States Senator Marco Rubio has decided to tackle the subject of Daylight Saving Time and wants the whole country to be a part as well. Rubio has crafted legislation in the form of two bills that would bring Florida and the rest of the country on the same schedule, which would be year-round daylight saving time. Florida lawmakers have already given the go ahead to make it permanent. However, Congress does not currently allow states to remain in daylight saving time all year round. Rubio says that the change would reduce crime, while increasing physical and economic activity.
