Biologists and other rescue partners helped two dolphins that got in trouble in Englewood this week.
A group of scientists spotted the dolphins and put out a net to catch them. Once secured, they found a fishing line had gone through one of the animals’ mouths, cutting its jaw and gum tissue.
The rescue crews were able to remove the line and administer antibiotics before setting the pair on their way.
