As rental prices continue to outpace wages and salaries nationwide, three Suncoast cities saw rents drop slightly last month.
The Herald-Tribune reports rental properties in Englewood dropped around 1.5% from last year. North Port and Sarasota each saw prices fall by 0.2 percent or less year over year.
Overall across Florida, rent increased by around 1 percent to average just over $1200.
Locally, rent last month ranged from $558 per month for an Englewood studio to just shy of $2,000 per month for a two-bed unit in Longboat Key.
