Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission reported it received a call Friday of the python roaming South Gulf Cove area near Englewood.
Reports should be called in to the FWC’s Exotic Species Hotline at 888-483-4681, online at IveGot1.org, or through the IveGot1 smartphone application.
South Gulf Cove residents shared photos of the reptile this weekend showing a large python making it’s way across the street.
