A public hearing is being held for input on a developer’s rezoning request to construct a multi use development in Punta Gorda.
The Sun reports about half of the 105 acres on Aqui Estate Drive would be used to build single houses, condos and a resort hotel ilong with other amenities.
Area residents say they’re concerned about noise and additional traffic, among other things.
The meeting will be hled at the Charlotte Harbor Event and Confernece Center at 1pm on October 24.
