A Punta Gorda man has been arrested for allegedly luring a woman to his trailer and raping her at gunpoint.
47-year old Albert Thomas is now charged in the incident. Police say Thomas called the 52-year old victim and asked her to pick up a man who Thomas routinely does drugs with.
When she got to the trailer, Thomas and a second man assaulted the woman. He now faces charges including sexual battery and false imprisonment. The investigation into the other man is ongoing.
