A 21-year old Punta Gorda man has been arrested and charged in connection with a September murder in North Port.
Juan Salazar-Diaz now faces a long list of charges in the death of 21-year-old Tyren Anthony Kinard of Port Charlotte.
Kinard’s body was found in an underdeveloped area of North Port back on September 8th.
Cell phone records showed that the last person Kinard called was Salazar-Diaz, and the two had talked multiple times over the summer. A motive for the killing was not released by police.
