Punta Gorda has made a list from Topretirements.com.
It has placed third among the “10 Friendliest Places to Retire.”
With just 17,000 people, the list says Punta Gorda has a small town feel.
It also says the city has a sense of history, and describes it as not “as spread out as some of its more populous neighbors like Fort Myers.”
The Villages sits at the top of the list, Palm Coast comes in fifth, and Bradenton rounds out the top 10.
