A public meeting is planned for tonight, for you to give input on the future of some of the original 1950s and 1960s neighborhoods of North Port. The meeting is planned for 6 until 8 p.m. at the Boys’ and Girls’ Club in North Port. The goal is to help city planners identify strengths and weaknesses of the neighborhoods, and come up with ways to establish a sense of place and long-term quality housing. A consultant will use the ideas generated to come up with a plan.
