As a result of a watermain break, the Englewood Water District is issuing a Precautionary Boil Water Notice for THE FOLLOWING AREAS OF MANASOTA KEY:
From 2025 N Beach Road north through Middle Beach. Affected addresses include 2025 North Beach Road through 6005 North Beach Road and 6010 Manasota Key Road through 6725 Manasota Key Road, to include all side streets in between.
A Code Red Emergency Alert has been issued.
As a precaution, we advise that all water intended for consumption—such as for drinking, preparing food or beverages, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes—be boiled for at least
one minute at a rolling boil. Alternatively, bottled water may be used.
This Precautionary Boil Water Notice will remain in effect until the necessary repairs have been completed and bacteriological testing has confirmed that the water supply is safe for consumption.
