A powerboat with four people riding capsized on New Year’s Day and were taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. One of the boaters was reportedly from Siesta Key, along with his two sons and a friend, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission.
