Bus service to Lakewood Ranch may soon end.
The proposal to end State Road 70 bus service at Wal-Mart east of I-75 accounts for one of several possible changes to the Manatee County Area Transit system.
The Bradenton Herald identifies it as a way to increase frequency on routes along Manatee Avenue West and Cortez Road.
The county commission considers the changes when it meets tomorrow at 1:30.
