A two-day operation by the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office called Operation Charlotte’s Web put one man behind bars for non-compliance as a sexual predator. 88 sex offenders were checked by detectives and members of the Community Policing Unit through the addresses they have on file to be sure they are in compliance. 22-year-old Marcus Bolden was arrested at 22320 Yonkers Avenue in Port Charlotte Avenue for failing to update his address on his driver license. He was taken to jail and charged with failure to maintain, acquire or renew a driver license as required by law.
