The highway patrol reports an injury following yesterday’s motorcycle accident in Port Charlotte.
It happened on Gray Avenue just west of Sherwood Road.
The patrol says 60-year-old Reginald Copeman headed west on Gray into a grassy shoulder.
He lost control after he steered left and got back onto the road.
The patrol also says Copeman did not wear a helmet.
He went to Lee Memorial with serious injuries.
