Two Port Charlotte men were arrested after a weekend drug bust. Officials with the Charlotte County Narcotics Unit, Street Crimes Unit and SWAT Team carried out a warrant at a home on Briarwood Street on Friday night. There, police found a quantity of marijuana as well as other drug paraphernalia.
One of the men charged, 39-year old Peter Parry, was already out of jail on bond for a case involving carjacking, false imprisonment and aggravated assault. The other man, 59-year old Daniel Grove, was also taken into custody. Deputies and the swat team searched a Port Charlotte home and found the drugs, along with a large amount of cash.
