An elderly man who was hit by a car on Olean Boulevard earlier this month has died.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, 75-year old Augustin Collado of Port Charlotte was walking across Olean near Harbor Boulevard around 1:30 on the afternoon of April 12th.
He walked directly into the path of a Mitsubishi that was driven by an 18-year old woman. She could not stop in time, and struck Collado. He later died at Blake Medical Center. FHP says the case remains under investigation- no charges have yet been filed.
