A 24-year-old Port Charlotte man has been arrested in connection with stealing a gun during a home break-in. Deputies with the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office said Anthony Touchton allegedly broke into a home and stole the gun. He was only arrested after he was found carrying the firearm when police were called to a domestic disturbance at a home on Easy Street. He now faces charges of burglary of an unoccupied dwelling while armed, grand theft of a firearm and possession of a firearm ammunition or weapon by a convicted felon.
