A school-aged girl returning from a party received quite a scare in her Port Charlotte bedroom Tuesday. The girl returned home on Dennis Avenue when she was woken up by a man apparently looking through her clothes, as well as wearing some of them. She tried to escape the room, but the intruder stopped her. The family dogs began barking and the girl’s father entered the room to find the man wearing a girls dress and shorts. Police found out that the man was known to stay at homeless camps and was identified as David Reeves. He has been charged with several crimes and also has multiple felony convictions.
