State Road 776 in Port Charlotte was shut down for much of Sunday because of brush fires in the area. Late Sunday, police said they now are looking for a car they believe may be involved in the setting of the fires. Charlotte Co. deputies say they’re looking for a red, older sedan that was occupied by two juvenile boys. Anyone who sees a car matching that description with younger drivers acting suspicious is asked to call police.
