Police spent a good portion of early Thursday, April 5, 2018 investigating a shooting at an apartment complex in Punta Gorda. Law enforcement responded to the Seven Palms Apartment Complex about 7:15 after a phone call to police said there were bullets holes in an apartment. The women said she heard something a couple of hours earlier, but went back to sleep before discovering the holes later in the morning. Police found bullet holes in another apartment, as well as a vehicle in the apartment complex parking lot. Nobody was injured and law enforcement continues to investigate.
