A single-engine plane that took off from Venice on Tuesday was found crashed in rural Tennessee on Wednesday morning. Officials in Huntsville, Tennessee- about 40 miles northwest of Knoxville- said air traffic control lost contact with the plane late on Tuesday night. The plane had been bound for Urbana, Ohio. The Scott County, TN Sheriff said on Wednesday that a woman, Vicki Maxwell, died in the crash. Her husband, David, was airlifted to the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
