Florida Highway Patrol identified the person who died in the fatal single car crash on Saturday. Colby Singletary, 18, died last night the car crash. Singletary was a Palmetto Ridge High School football player and wrestler. The white Kia SUV struck a tree in the median at 3390 Westbound Golden Gate Boulevard, Florida Highway Patrol’s says the passenger in the car was transported to a local hospital with incapacitating injuries. The westbound lanes of Golden Gate Boulevard were shut down for investigation.
