Congressman Patrick Murphy has declined to debate Congressman Alan Grayson before their Senate primary.
Murphy says accusations from Grayson’s ex-wife that Grayson abused her during their 20-year marriage has led to his decision.
Democratic Party leaders want Grayson to drop out of the race.
The primary happens Aug. 30.
