Outdoor Restaurant Seating Changing with Downtown Venice Beautification Project

There will be some changes to sidewalk seating for restaurants in downtown Venice as part of the ongoing beautification project.

Mayor John Holic told ABC-7 yesterday that the city will be marking off two-feet of clearance from the curb of the street and a four-foot wide pedestrian walkway.

That will force a number of restaurants to rearrange their outdoor seating arrangements.

The city is also restricting bicycles on the sidewalks of Tampa, Venice and Miami Avenues.
