A jury has found an Orlando man guilty in connection with the shooting death of a 22-year old man in North Port last year.
27-year old Marquis Harris was convicted on charges of manslaughter and possession of a firearm by a felon.
Prosecutors say Harris beat 22-year old Jaqavies Rivers with a pistol, and the gun accidentally went off, hitting Rivers once in the head, killing him instantly.
His sentencing is scheduled for sometime in July.
