OneBlood Big Red Bus Hosting Blood Drive at Venice City Hall November 5
VENICE, Fla. — The OneBlood Big Red Bus will roll into Venice City Hall, 401 W. Venice Ave., on Wednesday, Nov. 5, for a community blood drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
OneBlood officials are encouraging City employees and members of the public who are healthy and feeling well to donate the “gift of life.” Blood donations play a vital role in ensuring that hospitals have an adequate supply for patients in need of transfusions. Donors must bring a valid photo ID and ensure it has been at least 56 days since their last whole blood donation.
As a thank-you, all donors will receive a free $20 eGift card, a power bank for charging devices, a Culver’s coupon, and a wellness checkup that includes blood pressure, pulse, temperature, iron count, and cholesterol screening. Snacks will also be provided.
