One person was sriously injured after a crash last night on US-41 in Port Charlotte.
\Officials were called to the northbound lanes of US-41 between Tamiami Trail and Hancock Avenue just before 9pm. Once there, investigators say a car and a motorcycle had gotten into an accident.
US-41 was closed to traffic until around 11 last night while crews cleared debris from the scene and a helicopter was allowed to land to airlift one of the crash victims to an area hospital.
None of the identities of those involved were released.
