One man was injured after a Wednesday night shooting in Nokomis.
Police were called to a home in the 100 block of East Marland Court around 6 last night.
After interviewing a number of people on the street as well as neighbors, officers found a person only identified as a man in his 50s suffering from a gunshot wound. He was airlifted to an area hospital with serious injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation, but say there is no threat to the public.
