One man was seriously injured after a crash yesterday morning in Charlotte County.
Police say the accident happened near the intersection of State Route 776 and Gulfstream Boulevard.
According to investigators, an SUV being driven by a Rotonda West woman pulled out in front of a car driven by Richard St. Jean, of Port Charlotte. The two cars collided, sending St. Jean’s car into a road sign and a grassy median.
He was airlifted to Sarasota Memorial in serious condition. The driver of the SUV was not seriously injured.
