An early morning crash claimed the life of Englewood man on Thursday, but the crash scene wasn’t discovered for nearly two hours after the accident happened.
Police say 21-year-old Rodney Farr, Jr. was driving on the SR-681 entrance ramp around 3 a.m. when he lost control of his pickup. The truck overturned and rolled into bushes, where it stayed hidden.
Sarasota County Sheriff’s Deputies happened upon the scene at 5:15 a.m. and found Farr dead at the scene. His passenger, 26-year old Ayshia Sisson of Englewood was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital in critical condition- neither were wearing a seat belt.
