An early Sunday morning fire in Venice is the subject of an investigation. Crews were called to Service Club Park in Venice around 330 yesterday morning. A report states fire officials found the boardwalk and picnic tables engulfed in flames, in addition to nearly a quarter-acre of brush that was surrounding the area. The fire was contained, then completely extinguished by around 6am. There is no word yet on what may have started the blaze.
