The National Weather Service has issued a beach hazards statement for high respiratory irritation until Thursday evening because of red tide.
Affected beaches include Manasota Beach, Venice Beach, Venice North Jetty, Nokomis, Siesta Key,
Lido Key, Coquina Beach, and Manatee Beach.
